an activity to prepare a role play: the students have to surf the net and pick up 3 monuments and one restaurant in N.Y to prepare an imaginary day trip there. They have to travel by subway and they have to find out how they get from one monument to the other. In the end, they have to count how much it will cost. This work prepares them to speak in front of the class about their trip, or get interviewed. I include this in a chapter where they learn how to express enthusiasm and use the present perfect.
