Ratatouille Listening/Reading Comprehension Questions
This Listening/Reading Comprehension resource was written for Grade 6 and 7 Chinese students who do not use English as their first language. They saw the movie, ´Ratatouille´ with both Chinese and English subtitles. The class was split into groups of 3 or 4. Each group worked as a team. The teams answered 4 x questions, then the movie was paused as the gave their question sheet to the group next to them. The four questions were marked and a scoring table was placed on the whiteboard, next to where the movie was screening. Cumulative scores were kept so we could see which groups were comprehending the most about events in the movie. After each four questions had been answered by the movie, the movie was again paused and the same question-checking process was repeated with the relevant four questions. After the first 8 questions, the students became quite competitive and paid very close attention to the movie to try and get the right answers.
