Romantic Song Activity
Dear colleagues and students! I guess it is sometimes interesting and rather fruitful to study or reinforce grammar through multimedia resources, for example, songs and clips (thankfully, lots of them are at our disposal owing to the Internet). Let me share an activity worksheet on the grammar subject "GERUND / INFINITIVE" with you all. Studentsī task is to watch the clip on the song "Just Take My Heart" written by Mr. Big, one of the greatest hard rock / glam metal bands (I am their fan). The assignments are given on the second page of the worksheet. In fact, itīs a three-stage activity (filling in the gaps - remembering the gerund / infinitive rules - speaking on a subject similar to the one in the song with the help of some prompts). I will be very glad if you find it beneficial in your every day teaching / learning practice.
