This is a speaking activity that practices past continuous and giving reasons for actions. Students deal out the cards and take turns turning up a time card. They ask someone the person next to them "What were you doing at ...o´clock?" The next player chooses one of their pictures and answers "At ...o´clock, I was ...." You can also up the dificulty by adding another question "Why were you ... at ...o´clock?" If they don´t give a good reason they must keep the card and the first person to get rid of all their pictures is the winner.
