Christmas at Hogwarts
This is a Christmas-linked reading activity for B1-B2 learners, with plenty of pre-reading and post-reading tasks. There are enough tasks to fill in two 45-minute lessons. The reading text is a bit difficult due to its rich vocabulary (the text is authentic, by J. K. Rowling) but the tasks are carefully designed to meet the learners’ level of language.
The row of exercises train reading, speaking, writing skills and a little grammar (forming questions) as well.
With the help of the post-reading tasks the new vocabulary from the text can easily be practised and used in context.
There are some extra notes and a key to the tasks as well.
