Harry Potter and the Philosopher´s Stone word hunt and quiz
The word hunt starts within 40 minutes after the beginning of the film. It´s a lot of vocabulary to focus on! So there are two columns so that pupils can be sorted into two groups and focus on only half the words while watching the film, and still get the other part of the vocab when they take the correction with the rest of the group.
The quizzes focus on four different moments of the film: the arrival at the school and the sorting into the houses (good opportunity to explain this organization so specific to Great Britain;the rules of Quidditch (you can later develop into "the beaters must..., the seeker must..."); a few magic spell ("you can later develop into "You can open the doors with this spell"); Christmas
