introduce yourself
When I start with a new class I like to get to know them better. I give them this worksheet and they have a few minutes to think about what they can say for each category. Then they have to ask questions to each other (I usually use a powerpoint presentation to help them with the questions and the theme). It is like a speaking chain and they have to add as much details as possible.
