Before sharing the story, I will ask my students to look at the cover and discuss the following quesitons:
1. What can you see?
2. What is a surprise?
3. What might the surprise in the story be?
While sharing the story, I will use the following sentence patterns to provide chances for my students to practice future tense and past simple.
T: What do you think the __________ will do? (animal)
S: I think the animal will take the _________. (fruit)
T: What fruit did it take?
S: It took the _________. (fruit)
