Wishing to take my students up to another level in learning English, I thought it might be a good idea to familiarize them with figurative expressions so as to help them say things differently keeping the same meaning. They are supposed to read the text several times and then do the matching exercise. Every time I assigned this activity, I could clearly see they were becoming increasingly interested. (Three in a series)
