Students work out what the other forms of the nouns, adjectives and verbs used in "The Jabberwocky" are likely to be (first verse only.) I have recently revisited this, and added a second page, this time as an exercise for my adult pre-int ss, with space for them to invent a meaning for the made-up words, as part of a lesson for defining relative clauses.
