SUBWAY Sandwich Vegetable 1 of 2 Worksheets
I am teaching an adult ESL class. I prepared the students for a trip to the local Subway restaurant. For many, it was the first time they used English outside of class and/or at a restaurant.
This was the first worksheet I used to introduce the topic.
Key Phrases I used: "What would you like on your sandwich?"
"I would like blah blah, blah blah, and blah blah."

Please look out for the worksheet entitled "Homemade Subway Sandwich" which is a poor attempt at replicating a real Subway Sandwich to give the students another opportunity to use the language. They made 2D sandwiches for each other the day after the field trip. The sandwiches look great on the wall! They colored the vegetables, and got really creative with scratch paper and crayons to resemble the dressings and vegetables.
