Shopping Bingo - ESL Activity
I used this as a shopping bingo ESL activity. You can use it as you wish.
The first two sheets can be used to create your own bingo sheets, this part can be modified. The photo is an example and cannot be modified. This was done because some computers will change the format。
I also printed flashcards/picture cards using the images, halved the flashcards and put them into two piles. The file was too big to add the flashcards or more examples, sorry folks.
I explained the rules to the kids and said if I point to someone and say, Can I help you Madame/Sir?, then they should respond by saying, How much is this/that please? and get them to bow or curtesy when they say please just for fun.
I then described the items using English before saying what it was so people could guess before they saw the picture. I gave out some sweets/candy to the first person to successfully get house and bingo (house is a line of three and bingo is all pictures).
Enjoy, the kids certainly found it fun. That may have just been because they were so excited about winning some sweets/candy! :)
