Analysing & comparing texts (topic YALDA) - advanced level
Here is a team work. Divide your students into 6 different groups, give each 1 text. Be careful not to be deceived by the "twin" excerpts ! The goal is to make each group note down all the interesting details as asked in the exercise. Then make a general grid with THE WHOLE information, common points and differences or precisions from each text. The key I give is the details from each text but of course you can adapt it according to your own feeling, your students´ feeling. I did not give you the general grid as it will be easy for you to deduce it. Good fun with a very very rich special day !
