Get to know you Yahtzee
I often use this game is a first class, to assess the level of a new student.
Instructions:
Each player gets a lists of questions.
Players in turn role a cup of dice and just like in Yahtzee, pick a number or combination of numbers to correspond with a question.
Students pose the corresponding question to one another or teacher to student in 1-to-1 lessons.
The objective: is to get the answer the most questions as possible about the person youīre interviewing.
Each questions correctly answered about the interviewee equal 1 point to be tallied at the end of the time assigned to play.
Listen carefully, in answers some of these questions often people will answer additional questions. Like while answering 9 many people also volunteer the answer to 10.
This game also works great as a non-competitive general ice breaker.
