IN THE NEWS --- HARD/SOFT NEWS
I teach adults in China. I try to put as many things as possible into a familiar context. This lesson is designed to use readily available (and free!) materials ~~ primarily, pictures collected over a couple of weeks from the newspaper. Anything interesting, colorful, about as many types of news reports as possible. This is the only material not included with this lesson plan. I laminated 27 for my packet and use the same ones over and over. It works out quite well, and took me only about a week to collect. The instructions are detailed and easy to follow. Enjoy! This one is always fun and some of the stories are hilarious and some are heart wrenching. But thereīs lots of opportunity for hot correction, having students correct each otherīs mistakes, expansion of vocabulary. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. Works best in teams of 3 (or 4)
