STORY POKER STORY POKER

For this lesson you will need a single complete deck of playing cards. There is a handout with words assigned to each card. Cards are dealt to students, they identify the corresponding words, then work together to write a story. Lesson plan includes instructions on how to modify quickly to adjust to unanticipated issues. I tested this with a mid-beginner level and it worked out well. It will also work well with higher levels if adjusted accordingly. Enjoy!
