This is an old story from Japan about mirrors and a motherīs love. Various versions exist: the one here is that of Grace James. Students will answer comprehension questions, find the correct preposition, and reflect on questions about mirrors, living in the countryside, and stepmothers. They are also asked to make critical and moral judgements. A Vocabulary Key and Answer Key are provided.
