SENTENCE BUILDING DICE GAME
This lesson uses dice and word lists numbered 1-6, student rolls, then makes a sentence out of that word. Sounds easy? But wait! When they get a little to comfy, you slip in another list and a second die. Then a third, fourth, fifth. Then suddenly change lists in the middle of a sentence. Or change partners. Anything to keep them thinking really fast and on their toes. I tested this on a group of 8 students divided into two teams of 3 and one of 2. I kept it moving quickly by suddenly making random changes. They adapted quickly and got a kick out of the sudden challenge. This can be easily adapted for various levels.
