Irish Sports: Gaelic Football & Hurling
This is a worksheet I have created to introduce my students to Gaelic sports, especially the equipment worn. I usually show them pictures of the sports and tell them these are Gaelic games. I write the sentences ´They play Gaelic games in Ireland´ and ´Gaelic games are played in Ireland´ and elicit that one sentence is in the Active and the other the Passive voice. After elicit when the passive is used..... Then I show the students a video of the games being played. and ask then to take notes. Next we discuss the videos and do some/all of the worksheet.
