This handout/worksheet is a great introduction to transition words in the context of animals. This worksheet follows my ESL teaching philosophy of explicit teaching - identification - production. Sections of worksheet include: 1. Guided notes 2. Paragraph structure/organization 3. Sequence word identification in a paragraph about Giant Pandas 4. Expository writing outline/graphic organizer (about favorite animal) with sections for topic sentence, details, examples, and concluding sentence. Students are required to use sequence words in outline about favorite animal. 5. Paragraph writing template 6. Answer Key
