Fruit and veggies project, Grocery Store Treasure Hunt worksheet

This is a treasure hunt that has to occur in a real grocery store close to your school. In this project, the learners have to gather information on what they eat and what is available for them in the grocery store. I was able to do this project only once, but I never saw students debate so much on what yogurt brand was better for them. A pleasure to see the learners reflect on their own on their well-being. It´s a difficult project to pull out. You nee the authorization of the grocery store, the parents, your school and of course the students that can complete this task without being disruptive. You might also want to adapt the questions to your reality.
