Students can use this template as part of a reading journal. The document asks students to list the title, author, illustrator, and number of pages in their books. It also asks students to describe the characters and the setting, the conflict, and the problem. Finally, students are asked to give their opinion on the text they read. It is an excellent tool to monitor student reading comprehension and get students writing about what they read!
