Australian States worksheet

This activity teaches your student to recognise and name the states and Territories of Australia. Copy out one of the state marked maps of Australia on to coloured paper. Laminate all sheets. Cut out the state names and cut out the coloured paper state map by each individual state. You now have a state puzzle the students can use to recognise the states and their locations with in Australia. Make this harder by using the map with out the state lines. The students can also label the individual states with the word cards. this will teach the students the state names and word recognition.
