Charlie and the Chocolate Factory Activities on Chapter 1
Work on chapter 1 from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory book by Roald Dahl. It is a cooperative work in which the children have to read the chapter 1 in little groups in order to find words that best describe Charlie´s house. Then, they have to use the thesaurus to find some synonyms and use them when writing some sentences. In a separate piece of paper they can draw Charlie´s house. Later, they do the same with their own house. Draw it and describe it using Charlie´s text as an example. Finally, they have to compare and contrast both houses using synonyms and connectives.
