The Heist
This is a great short video to practice listening, reading and writing. The worksheet SHOULD BE HANDED folded in half. The students tend to think it´s a wedding cerimony from the description.
First they should read the text and answer the easy questions.
Then let them watch until minute 6:40. They can then in pairs answer the questions on the second half.
Watching it again until 6:40 is a good idea. DO NOT SHOW THEM THE REST.
Then a group writing activity should be done so the students can try to guess the ending. They should write a shortish paragraph, like the intro.
They then share their ideas and vote the best, most likely, most original....
Then and only then, watch the end of the video.
