Have students make something in the target language... such as a graph ! A fun idea that is not from the textbook, to make the lesson a little different from the usual routine. I did it for kids age 7-9 with a beginners level ; but itīs easy to adapt for all age and levels ! Students learn vocabulary you focus on (here itīs food, but it could be on verbs in -ing or else !), a grammatical structure (here I like/donīt like, but could be on anything/any level) and they do something specific in the target language, having fun. Enjoy it !
