Song Presentation Requirements
This is an activity I have used with great success with my advanced students. Ask each student to prepare a presentation on his or her favorite song in English. I usually model the presentation first with a favorite song of my own. Great for bringing up interesting vocabulary items, especially idiomatic language. Usually starts some good discussions as well, and lets the students play "teacher", which they love.
