This is a cloze activity to help pupils learn key words for the poem The Owl and the Pussycat. Initial sounds are colour coded. Pupils use the colours to match and write words. Pupils repeat the words. With help, pupils reread the poem and the teacher can encourage pupils to join in with the keywords. Hope it will be useful. Thanks. I do have this differentiated.
