Prepositions 1of2
These worksheets have worked well for me while teaching prepositions and also teaching the correct use of THERE IS and THERE ARE. First, teach the prepositions giving examples using a text book and a desk or what ever you feel comfortable with:
on,
under,
in,
over,
in front of,
behind,
next to,
near,
between,
at.
Next, pass out both worksheet and contact sheet (see next) for each student.
Questions 1-10, circle the correct answers.
Questions 11-14, students write complete sentences for each picture.
Question 15, have the student draw a picture and write a sentence in the spaces provided.
