This activity has been inspired and designed from the New English File Upper-Intermediate teacher¡¦s book - grammar section (Unit 5: reporting verbs). I¡¦ve done this role-play in class with a group of 8 adults but you can adapt it to your own size class by removing or adding characters. It worked really well as students practised vocabulary related to crime, which we had studied in previous lessons. The court reporter role is key as students later report their own statements! ƒº
