Ranking of Characteristics
This is one of my favorite activities to do with students on two levels. One is it is a vocabulary activity teaching several important words. But more importantly, it causes students to evaluate various occupations. To judge what´s important as a quality in a person. Looks may seem important in a girlfriend, but is it more important than being honest? This opens the floor to a lot of discussion, character development, and perhaps even a better overall person.
