The Heist
This is a great activity to practice all productive and comprehension areas. There are speaking, reading, writing and listening skills involved.
Pre-cut the paper, or fold it in half so they can´t see what´s coming next.
Basically, first they read the text in pairs, and answer the first questions, and then watch the video until 6:15. (at around 2:25 you may stop it as well, to check if they want to change their opinions).
Then give the rest of the questions, they go over them and then watch the video up to 6:15 again to check, then they in pairs write down the ending, following more or less the intro as guide.
Then they share their endings with the class and watch the last few minutes to check how it ends. See if anyone got close to the real answer. They could vote for the best alternative ending.
