Use the Clues Icebreaker Activity Use the Clues Icebreaker Activity

This is an activity I used as an ice breaker for a new class. Students fill-in-the-blanks for the items on the folder section (labeled "CLUES") but make sure not to put their name! Then the papers are collected and randomly redistributed. Students must go to each other and ask questions (for example, "What is your favorite hobby?" or "Is your favorite hobby ____?") to find the "owner" of the worksheet. Once they find the owner, they write the personīs name and give the worksheet back to them! At the end of the worksheet is a brief writing activity, which I used to help with pre-assessment.
