50 1st dates conversation/warm up
I used this for a film class where I taught the film "50 1st dates" with Drew Barrymore and Adam Sandler. This is a good worksheet to give the night before (as homework) you start the lesson. I broke the film down in three 33 minute sessions, so depending how long your sessions are, there should be plenty of time to answer these questions as a conversation. I use a conversation wheel where students stand in two circles one inner and on outer facing one another, and as each question changes so does their speaking partner. Donīt tell them that this homework will be tomorrows conversation because it usually works best as a surprise. Some students, however, appreciate the opportunity to thin about a topic before speaking about it.
