This is my first worksheet contribution to ESL Printables, I hope the first of many. It is an Intermediate + reading and comprehension worksheet based on a true story taken from a British newspaper article. It includes a matching exercise where students have to match the word or phrase with its correct definition and also general comprehension questions, mostly requiring True or False answers, but not always. At the end is the Key. Any pointers of suggestions welcome please as this is my first effort. In general I prefer to focus on reading materials which I think and hope students will find interesting, mostly taken from real life.
