comparative and superlative formation rules comparative and superlative formation rules

Comparative and superlative with short/long adjectives worksheet for students to deduce formation rules from examples. I´ve used this with both Elementary and Pre-Intermediate adult classes. The classes were two hours and this worksheet plus some practice exercises occupied pretty much the whole of the lesson. I choose to do both comparatives and superlatives in the same lesson because the rules are similar. The rules to fill in are in Spanish (should be pretty easy to change them to English if necessary) and answers are included at the end.
