Memorising irregular verbs is always challenging. Iīve come up with this activity sheet for my students which works on 3 levels to help with memory: 1. Categorising verbs on 3 differet worksheets rather than learning from an alphabetical list (please see worksheet 2 and 3). 2. Use of different colours. 3. Analogy between paradigm of verb and number of ice-cream flavours!(Students find this hilarious!) Example: to bet/bet/bet=1 flavour (doesnīt change) - to bring/brought/brough=2 flavours (changes once) - to drink/drank/drank=3 flavours (all different). Hope you find it useful.
