Sentence Stems
This activity practices question formation, sentence writing, speaking, and reporting. First, using the worksheet, the students form questions to match the sentences stems. The first one has been done as an example. Then students complete the sentence stems with their own answers. Next, students ask a number of partners for their answers. When they have spoken to a few partners, the students return to their desks and write about the most interesting thing they heard. The teacher may call upon a few students to report their answers. Enjoy!
