I´ve taken the beginning of the story by E.Hemingway for reading in class. The text is followed by the three exs 1)true or false 2)grammar 3)vocabulary to check how good the sts have understood the plot and revise some of grammar. I intend to ask them to read another part of the story at home to discuss it next class. And it will be an interesting speaking practice.
