This is Halloween (song from The Nightmare Before Christmas) - vocab preparation, with full lesson plan
I created this lesson plan because I wanted to do a gapfill for the song "This is Halloween", from Tim Burton´s "Nightmare Before Christmas", where I played the video and the sts filled the gaps. But I soon realized that the gapfill alone would be too difficult for them if we didn´t work on the vocabulary of the song before we tackled the gapfill itself. So I designed a few activities to familiarize the sts with the vocabulary used in the song. Once we did all this, the sts were ready to do the gapfill, and managed to do it relatively easily. They enjoyed it a lot and ended up singing along when I played the song for the last time. These worksheets come with a COMPREHENSIVE lesson plan detailing all the activities step by step. Enjoy!
