ADVANCED READING - NY Times Article on Oscar "Fiasco" - Vocabulary exercises and discussion
This is a ws based on a NY Times article on the Oscar "Fiasco". I used it with my advanced students. You can start with conversational questions about the Oscars. The ws has the article, some conversational questions, and then the vocabulary work. Students must match the definitions with the vocabulary to complete the crossword puzzle. Then, they must use the vocab item in a sentence. You can ask new questions with the new vocabulary too. Hope you enjoy it!
