Pachisi Listening/Reading Exercise Pachisi Listening/Reading Exercise

This exercise practices vocabulary and structures used in board game instructions and prepares students to create their own board games. It can be a listening comprehension -- project or copy and distribute the board image and then read the text slowly and clearly twice -- or it can be a reading exercise. The exercise recycles ideas used in the "Shopaholic" reading comprehension exercise that I have also shared on ESLPrintables. "Pachisi" is the traditional Indian game on which "Parcheesi" is based.
