Marking Int. Womenīs Day I put together a worksheet to accompany this sassy song by Daya - a song I became aware of thanks to my own daughter listening to it in the commute to school each day. The song pokes fun at Barbie Doll depictions and expectations of women, while forwarding a much more prickly, independent, feminist perspective that espouses that girls and women should be their own champions and heroines. Easy to do worksheet has students focused on listening rather than writing. I hope you enjoy.
