Time Connect 4
Based on the game Connect 4. Itīs a pair work activity. Each student needs a color pencil or pen. In turns, students choose a square on the grid (working from the bottom row up), say the time in that square and circle that time with their color pen/pencil.
The object of the game is to get four consequtive squares in your color either horizontally, vertically or diagonally.
If my explanation is difficult to understand do a google image search of Connect 4 and that should help you understand the concept of the game.
Print off lots of double sided grids as students can play this game loads of times before they get sick of it.
Alternatively print off one grid for each pair, laminate them and supply the students with counters to use instead of color pencils/pens.
This game can be adapted for endless amounts of language points.
