A short rhyme to help students remember when to use the definite article (the) in English, with examples and explanations for each category. There is a link to a short YouTube video in which you can listen to the poem. Students can learn the rhyme by heart and try to remember the examples and what each line signifies. When they know the poem well, you can get them to write it out from memory and add plenty of their own examples for each use of the definite article.
