Guide to Speaking Exams
This is a guide for students to prepare them for speaking tests. There are key points to help them get the maximum score when they have to describe a photo. It is primarily aimed at Cambridge speaking tests, but the concepts can be applied to any speaking exam and are good drills to learn.
Students answer the questions about the first picture and then have to describe the 2nd and 3rd picture using the same prompts.
There are also diagrams that illustrate how they should try and speculate, have opinions and use the question words to stimulate other ideas to talk about.
Itīs a .docx format, so you can change the photos and use it over and over again or adjust the level depending on your students.
