Memory Game- Opposites
These are just some flashcards but they can be used in many ways. Here are some ideas: MEMORY GAME- students can match the opposite pictures or the name and the picture.Another suggestion is: have a pile of the names of the family members like : uncle/mother/sister, etc and another pile with the pictures of the opposites. Ask students to take a card from each pile and ask another student a question , e.g: if they get "mother" and "tall"= Is your mother tall?
A third suggestion:This is an adaption of a card game but I don΄t remember its name:It should be played in groups of 3 or more, sitting in a circle. The teacher distributes the cards face up so that everybody can see them. If a student gets a card whose adjective another student knows, the other student should shout it . If the name is correct, not olny does the student get the card on top but the whole pile . The winner is the one whose pile is the biggest.I hope my explanation is not so confusing!
