Present simple or continuous with hobbies
A fill in the gaps activity for present simple vs present continuous, with the theme of hobbies. Students have to look at the picture and the X or tick next to it. If there is a tick, they should form an affirmative sentence, if there is an X, they should form a negative sentence. They should decide whether it should be present simple or continuous and then fill in the gap. If they struggle, the teacher can help by giving the verb they need to change (e.g. play football).
