Short texts: Find the extra word (and speaking)
Six short texts for intermediate readers. The students need to find the extra word in each line (word that CANNOT be there, not merely a word that NEED NOT be there). Each text contains one "trick" line with no extra word, and is followed by three conversation questions related to the topic. Answer key on the second page, with the extra words crossed out.
