past simple jepardy
do you know the game jepardy? you have several topics and questions are devided according to difficulty? my students were bored with grammar exercises, so we did it in a funnier way to practice past simple, cont and perfect (simple and cont mostly!). the cards are of different colours: purple - choose one of underlined words to connect sentences; blue - choose abc option to fill in the gaps; green - connect the words in the sentence; yellow - make questions; red - add some sentences for translation. I stick printed cards face to the board, students choose a category and a question. they get a point if they answer correctly. the other team has a chance if the first makes a mistake.
